new Group C rim

The idea was to have a rim with the diameter of the Tamiya Group C rim with the hub inside, to get rid of the separate red hub on which u normaly attach the rim as seen on the picture below.

 

And there u have it. it is basicaly the F103 rim with the outer diameter of a Group C rim.

Tamiya F201 customized 2wd full Carbon alu

 The upperdeck is the only part that needs to be done. as you can see I mounted Group C wings and body mount from the nissan R91cp.

1990 Tamiya Group C Sauber C11 Mercedes modified

it has HPI F10 rubbers glued directly to the original rims. Changed the turnbuckles, changed the demper and raised the back mounting by 11mm.

The body is trimmed at the bottom by 4 a 5 mm so it sits as low as possible.. this raises the spoiler-wing so it gives more drag.

the total weight of the car is 1222 grams. But it has a saddle-pack lipo installed, I will soon replace it with a shorty pack lipo which will give 45 gram advantage so i will have spare weight to balance the rear-pod to prevent the car from going to the left when apply full throttle.

Lego Technic F1 Lego Digital Designer (LDD)

Hi guys. I am finished with the first part of the F1 moc in LDD. here are some pics.

 for some reason i couldn't import the extra hard shock absorber so it is missing. also the push-rod didn't connect in the program so that is kinda improvised as well.
